About the Role
We are a multi-disciplinary practice, bringing together accounting-qualified and legally qualified professionals to deliver integrated tax advisory and compliance services. We employ CA, CPA, and legally qualified professionals and maintain appropriate technical and career development programs, as well as supervision arrangements to support legally qualified practitioners.
We are seeking experienced Private Clients Tax Senior Managers to play a key role in the day-to-day delivery of tax and accounting services for high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), family groups, family offices, and privately held enterprises.
You will work closely with Directors and Partners, ensuring seamless execution of client engagements, managing a portfolio of clients, while mentoring junior team members and contributing to the growth of the Private Clients practice.
What you’ll do
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of accounting, tax compliance and advisory projects, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Support Directors and Partners in handling complex technical matters such as Division 7A, trust taxation, FBT, CGT, succession planning.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and delivering exceptional service.
- Deliver strategic financial guidance to support clients in meeting their business objectives and enhancing overall financial outcomes.
- Mentor and coach junior staff, fostering technical development and professional growth.
- Assist in identifying opportunities for additional services and contribute to business development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
What we’re looking for
- Extensive experience in private client tax advisory and compliance.
- Ideally 8-10 years’ experience gained in an Accounting/Advisory firm.
- Strong technical knowledge of Australian tax law for individuals, trusts, and private companies.
- Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent leadership and team development skills.
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CA qualification or an equivalent professional designation is highly regarded
