Private Clients Business Services Director

About the Role

We are a multi-disciplinary practice, bringing together accounting-qualified and legally qualified professionals to deliver integrated tax advisory and compliance services. We employ CA, CPA, and legally qualified professionals and maintain appropriate technical and career development programs, as well as supervision arrangements to support legally qualified practitioners.

We are seeking experienced Private Clients Business Services Directors to support the Partners in leading and growing our Business Advisory practice. This senior role focuses on ensuring seamless delivery of strategic advisory services to privately held enterprises, family groups, and high-growth businesses.

You will work closely with the Partner to manage client engagements, oversee technical delivery, and mentor the team, while contributing to business development and operational excellence. This role offers a clear and structured pathway to Partnership for the right candidate.

What you’ll do

• Manage day-to-day delivery of complex advisory engagements for private businesses.
• Support the Partner in developing strategies for client growth and service excellence.
• Provide technical expertise on business performance, structuring, succession planning, and governance.
• Manage delivery of accounting, tax compliance, and advisory engagements for private businesses.
• Provide technical expertise on financial reporting, structuring, and performance improvement.
• Oversee workflow, resource allocation, and ensure deadlines are met.
• Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and technical excellence.
• Contribute to business development initiatives and identify opportunities for additional services.

What we’re looking for

• Significant experience in Business Services & Advisory.
• Ideally 10+ years’ experience gained in an Accounting/Advisory firm.
• Strong technical knowledge in financial analysis, governance, and strategic planning.
• Strong technical knowledge in accounting standards and tax compliance.
• Proven ability to manage complex engagements and deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Professional qualifications (CA, CPA) essential.
