About the Role
We are a multi-disciplinary practice, bringing together accounting-qualified and legally qualified professionals to deliver integrated tax advisory and compliance services. We employ CA, CPA, and legally qualified professionals and maintain appropriate technical and career development programs, as well as supervision arrangements to support legally qualified practitioners.
We are seeking experienced Indirect Tax – Stamp Duty Partners to join our growing Indirect Tax practice.
The team advises on duty exposure, reliefs and transaction structuring for corporate, real estate and private equity deals.
What you’ll bring to the role
- Lead the firm’s stamp duty advisory offering across M&A, property, and corporate restructures.
- Sign off on major opinions and negotiate outcomes with state revenue authorities.
- Lead major duty engagements, advising on exposure, reliefs and structuring options.
- Mentor emerging specialists.
- Recognised expert in state taxes with extensive transaction experience. Strong commercial and drafting skills.
- Deep experience in duty across multiple jurisdictions. Strong communicator with deal sensibility.
- Accountancy, Taxation or Legal Qualifications are desired.
