M&A Director

About the Role

We are seeking experienced M&A Directors to support the Partner in defining and executing the firm’s Deals Advisory strategy. This senior role focuses on leading complex transactions, managing client relationships, and mentoring senior team members, while contributing to growth initiatives and market positioning.

This role offers a clear and structured pathway to Partnership for the right candidate.

What you’ll do

• Lead origination and execution of M&A transactions across multiple sectors.
• Provide strategic input on transaction structure, valuation, and negotiation strategy.
• Review and challenge financial analyses, valuation models, and marketing materials.
• Manage senior-level client relationships, including boards, founders, and investment committees.
• Coach Managers and Senior Managers to develop execution and client leadership skills.
• Drive innovation and excellence in service delivery, integrating technology and analytics where appropriate.
• Build market presence through thought leadership, networking, and industry commentary.

What we’re looking for

• Significant experience in deals advisory, corporate finance, or investment banking.
• Strong technical knowledge in transaction structuring, valuation, and negotiation.
• Proven ability to manage complex engagements and deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Excellent leadership and team development skills.
• Professional qualifications (CA, CPA, CFA) highly regarded.
