Deals Strategy Senior Associate

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Deals Strategy Senior Associate to join our growing Deals Strategy practice. In this role, you will lead defined workstreams across transaction strategy, separation, and integration projects, delivering high-quality commercial and operational insights.

You will collaborate with Managers, Associate Directors, and Directors to assess deal rationale, test assumptions, and support integration planning, while contributing to proposals and client development initiatives.

What you’ll do

• Lead defined workstreams across transaction strategy, separation, and integration projects, delivering high-quality commercial and operational insights.
• Assess market attractiveness, competitive dynamics, and investment rationale as part of commercial due diligence.
• Develop and test synergy, cost-to-achieve, and stranded-cost cases, ensuring assumptions are evidence-based and commercially sound.
• Support integration and separation planning, Day 1 / Day 2 readiness activities, and benefits-tracking frameworks.
• Facilitate client workshops and discussions, bringing structured thinking and analytical clarity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure insights are integrated across financial, operational, and strategic workstreams.
  Support engagement scoping, fee estimation, and proposal preparation.

What we’re looking for

• Experience in M&A strategy, commercial due diligence, or integration/separation projects within a Big 4 or a leading consulting or advisory environment.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Professional qualifications (CA, CPA, CFA, or MBA) essential or in progress.
