Valuations Senior Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Valuations Manager to prepare and review valuations for businesses, shares, and financial instruments across transaction and compliance contexts. You will play a key role in producing client-ready reports, engaging with stakeholders, and supporting senior team members in driving process improvements and efficiency.

This role offers exposure to complex projects and a clear progression pathway to Associate Director and beyond.

What you’ll do

• Prepare valuations for businesses, shares, and financial instruments, for transaction and compliance purposes.
• Research and interpret market evidence to support benchmark selection and valuation inputs.
• Prepare client-ready valuation reports and supporting exhibits.
• Review and sensitise financial forecasts, reconciling assumptions with due diligence findings or management projections.
• Engage with clients, auditors, and tax advisers to explain methods, assumptions, and results.
• Support engagement scoping, fee estimation, and proposal preparation.
• Assist senior team members in identifying process improvement and technology opportunities to enhance analysis quality and efficiency.

What we’re looking for

• Circa 6 years’ experience in valuations, transaction advisory, or corporate finance gained in a Big 4 (or similar), Investment Bank of specialist Valuations firm.
• Qualified CA, CPA, or CFA.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and review complex financial models.
• Strong project management and client relationship skills.
• Deep understanding of valuation-related accounting standards (e.g., AASB 13, AASB 3, AASB 136).
• Deep understanding of valuation methodologies (e.g., discounted cash flow, market multiples, asset-based approaches) and their commercial applications
