About the Role
We are a multi-disciplinary practice, bringing together accounting-qualified and legally qualified professionals to deliver integrated tax advisory and compliance services. We employ CA, CPA, and legally qualified professionals and maintain appropriate technical and career development programs, as well as supervision arrangements to support legally qualified practitioners.
We are seeking experienced Private Clients Tax Senior Consultants to join our growing Private Clients Tax team. In this role, you will support Managers, Directors, and Partners in delivering high-quality tax compliance and advisory services to high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), family groups, family offices, and privately held enterprises.
You will play a key role in managing day-to-day engagements, reviewing complex tax matters, and mentoring junior team members, while building strong client relationships and contributing to practice growth.
What you’ll do
- Prepare and review tax returns and compliance reports for individuals, trusts, and private companies.
- Assist in delivering strategic tax advice on CGT, Division 7A, trust taxation, succession planning.
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to resolve queries and provide a consistent, professional experience.
- Mentor and guide junior staff, fostering technical development and professional growth.
- Support Managers and Directors in identifying opportunities for additional services and contributing to business development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
What we’re looking for
- 3–5 years’ experience in private client tax advisory and compliance.
- Strong technical knowledge of Australian tax law for individuals, trusts, and private companies.
- Excellent communication and client engagement skills.
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
- A bachelor’s degree in accountancy or finance; CA qualification or an equivalent professional designation is highly regarded.
